The federal Logging Operations Standard is enforced by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). One section of this Standard, 1910.266 (d)(2) and associated Appendix A, lists minimum requirements for first aid kits at logging operations. This information is summarized below.

First Aid Kit Contents The following list sets forth the minimally acceptable number and type of first aid supplies as required by OSHA for a small crew of approximately two to three employees. Fold this page on the dashed line, and tape it to the inside of the first aid kit.

APA encourages logging contractors, as a best practice recommendation, to conduct at least an annual review of the contents of first aid kits.
Important Note: This Overview explains the minimum first aid requirements set forth in the OSHA Logging Operations Final Rule. You may want to include other first aid items in your kit, depending upon the nature and hazards of your logging job.
